Starz Academy 'Ballet Babes' classes are running on a Wednesday morning at The Hilt. Running 12 classes per term from the mirrored fitness studio with our excellent qualified dance teacher 'Miss Lara'.

Here is some information about our classes.

Price
£59 per 12 class term

• We offer ballet classes from 6 months - 6 years for boys and girls, split into age appropriate classes
• Parents join in with the classes until their child is ready for them to take a back seat (usually around 2.5 yrs)
• Our emphasis in on encouraging each child to learn the basics of ballet through movement to music in a FUN environment
• Each child receives a reward chart and stickers at the end of each class
• Certificates are awarded for every child at the end of term
• We use props e.g. bat/fairy wings to fly, wands for casting spells and singing with instruments to support the learning of rhythm!
• Each 1 hr session includes a 30 minute FUN but structured ballet class plus 30 minutes of free play with hot and cold refreshments for everyone
• Each 45 minute 'Independent' session for children over 3 yrs consists of a slightly more focussed class, though still keeping the emphasis on fun!  With a fun 15 minutes of warm up ballet exercises, 15 minutes of ballet basics e.g. positions, ballet arms, points, kicks, gallops etc and 15 minutes of imagination time where the children can relax a little and express themselves with ballet moves freely practiced to imaginative themes structured by the teacher.
